PEFCU Gives Back to the Community
Lakeland, Fla., October 1, 2020—Publix Employees Federal Credit Union (PEFCU) will be donating a total of $5,000 to United Way on behalf of five members as part of their Get & Give Visa® Sweepstakes, which runs from October 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
During the “Get & Give” Visa® Sweepstakes, any PEFCU member who applies for a PEFCU Visa® Credit Card will automatically be entered for a chance to win. PEFCU will select five approved PEFCU Visa® Credit Card applicants to win $1,000 for themselves. PEFCU will also donate an extra $1,000 to each winner’s local United Way chapter on their behalf.
PEFCU CEO and President Bob Bregler says this campaign is consistent with the credit union’s “people helping people” approach.
“During the holidays, people want to give as much as they can,” says Bregler. “They give to their close friends and family and try to donate to local charities they know make a meaningful difference. Our Get & Give Visa® Sweepstakes helps our members spread even more goodwill to others.”
