2024 Board of Directors
The 66th Annual Meeting of Publix Employees Federal Credit Union (PEFCU) will be held at the main office in Lakeland, Florida, on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 5:05 p.m. The Nominating Committee has nominated Merriann Metz and Kyle Davis to the Board of Directors (BOD) for 2024. All those elected will serve a three-year term.
When there is only one nominee for each position to be filled, the bylaws specify that an election will not be conducted by ballot, and there will be no nominations from the floor during the annual meeting.
Nominations may be made by petition in accordance with the bylaws, signed by at least 500 credit union members, and mailed to the address below before Friday, February 16, 2024:
The Nominating Committee c/o Publix Employees Federal Credit Union
Attn: Christina Sornson
P.O. Box 1000, Lakeland, FL 33802-1000
A statement of qualifications, the nominee’s biographical information, and a signed statement from the nominee that he/she will serve if elected must accompany each petition. Although a voluntary position, board members are expected to attend monthly board meetings, which are usually held at the main Credit Union office in Lakeland, usually on the last Friday of each month at 3:30 p.m. If nominations other than those presented by the Nominating Committee are received, they will be included in a secret ballot election by mail or electronic ballot.
